Andy Warhol did not invent Pop Art but he did take it to a higher level. Everyday life became art within Andy Warhol’s mindset. He believed everyone would eventually get their moment of recognition, even if for just 15 minutes. Warhol recorded culture and in turn used it to influence future trends in visualization and consumerism. His cameras of choice were the The Polaroid and the Minox EL 35. During his career he shot more than 100,000 photographs. He worked pretty much 24/7 and surrounded himself with a spectrum of creatives. His influence on mass media, film and music changed the innovative course of every generation since 1962. Fun Fact: His signature wild white hair was in reality a wig which became his number one trademark.
