The Oak Park Library has a central stairway to access floors with books and also study rooms and offices. In my black and white version the ladder and various statements on the glass caught my interest. I have always felt that Japanese lettering was very interesting purely as a graphic element so I decided to develop my own glyphics and insert them into this photo as an experiment. This is the only photo I have produced using a colorized graphics application which was produced in Photoshop.
