Sometimes I cover the camera lens with cellophane or shoot out of focus to create a mood. I use In-camera double exposures to alter reality. Getting close reveals details not realized from a distance. I prefer not to do much editing on the computer but sometimes an idea is developed through the use of software and experimentation.
